About Certification
What Is CP Certification
(Waterworks Materials & Products Compliance)?
CP Certification officially verifies the performance of waterworks and sewerage materials and products that are difficult to cover under existing schemes such as KS or Group Standards.
Operated by Korea Water Technology Certification, it supports market entry for water-industry companies and safer water/sewer facilities. If your product falls outside KS or Group Standards categories, CP is a key path to market.

Audit Process
Factory Audit
Two KWTC auditors visit the plant and score each item. A total of 80 points or more out of 100 is a factory-audit pass.
Product Audit
After the factory pass, product compliance with fitness and audit criteria is reviewed through performance and material tests. Both must meet the criteria for final certification.
