About Certification
What Is Eco-Label (Environmental Mark)?
Eco-Label (Environmental Mark) certification is a voluntary program that selects eco-friendly products with excellent quality and performance along with comprehensive environmental performance throughout the product life cycle, and requires display of a prescribed logo and brief description.
Operated by the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI), certification qualifies products for priority purchase as green products by public institutions, securing competitive advantage in the procurement market.

Eco-Label Certification Process
Application Submission
After the KEITI receiving office reviews the application, final submission proceeds upon payment of the application fee.
Document Verification
A certification auditor is assigned to conduct document review of the application and submitted materials, and the on-site audit schedule is coordinated.
On-Site Verification and Quality Testing
Auditors verify consistency between documents and the site, raw materials, and production processes for finished products; samples are collected and sealed on-site for analysis at a testing institution.
Certification Deliberation
Upon completion of test analysis, KEITI receives test reports, compiles supporting evidence, and determines suitability through certification deliberation.
