The sanitary safety standards certification (henceforth referred to as ‘KC Certification’) assigns legal obligation to certify whether a waterworks (excluding water intake, storage or conveyance facilities) in accordance to Article 14, Clause 1 of the Waterworks Law has any materials or products that are in conformance with Article 24, attached table 1 of 2 of the Enforcement Decrees.
①Factory Audit: Consists of two examiners from the certification institution, is executed by the factory audit item standards, If score more than 80% of the total score, will be eligible for product audit.

②Product Test(Dissolution Test): Executes product examination through product test (qualified testing agency) based on Waterworks Law enforcement order Article 24 of Annex 1-2 on the subjected item from the company that passed the factory audit.
intends to manufacture or import water materials or products that come into contact with water (excluding water intake, water storage, and water supply facilities) must obtain certification.
Able to use the KC(Sanitary safety) certification mark on the product and promote the fact that the company has been certified.
